Established in 2007, MediaBadger has grown a significant client roster across Canada, the United States and United Kingdom from governments and Fortune 500 to small, local businesses, public and investor relations agencies and even marketing agencies. We’ve also had the delightful benefit of working with a few non-profits.

In 2008 we began the development of our own digital and social media monitoring tool, mediasphere360. Our research into some 30 online reputation management tools showed us two key issues; 1) they only pulled results from Google or Yahoo and 2) they did not employ any effective Artificial Intelligence to make sense of what is found. This, coupled with our clients need for putting some meaning behind what was being found, lead us to develop our own monitoring tool. This is the backbone of our ability to offer insight and guidance that is based on actual evidence.

When we say “social intelligence” we mean that we provide our clients with in-depth reports that include recommendations, guidelines and a comprehensive understanding of what has been found online. From product and brand discussions through to public sentiment and discussion on government issues. We have completed over 160 research projects for our clients. Today our head office remains in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a satellite office in southern England. We’ve provided research and consulting to firms across North America and into the EU. In addition to providing social intelligence, we’ve built a strong practice around online reputation management and helping clients respond to digital media crises.
