About Us

There are no rule books when it comes to Social Media. This sets up a specific set of challenges for businesses, government and non-profit organizations; specifically in how to understand, leverage and engage in the Social Media space on the Web. This is where we become your sherpa, bringing you safely through unexplored territory.

With all our research and experience in Social Media, we’ve begun development of XMonitor (code name) a new Social & Traditional Media monitoring tool soon to go into Beta. Our approach here is very different from any other solutions, and we look forward to a launch soon.

Senior Management:

Giles Crouch - CEO
For nearly 20 years Giles has been on the “client side” of marketing and communications. The past 12 years has been focused on creating and executing marketing and public relations programs internationally; across North America, EMEA and parts of Africa and Asia. He’s engaged advertising and PR agencies in all these regions with technology and biotechnology products. He’s brought several products to market, lobbied the Canadian and EU Parliaments and U.S. Congress. He is also the co-creator and founder of the Ice Awards, creative advertising awards for Atlantic Canada.

Giles has served as senior management in both public and private companies. He’s also built and sold two small “.com” projects and gone through an acquisition by AOL/Time Warner, leading the marketing communications efforts for InfoInterActive. Giles has lectured at Dalhousie University, St. Mary’s University and Mount Saint Vincent University on issues from international marketing to Web PR. He is active in the local business community as communications Chair for Canadian International Council and as an advisor to Entrepreneurs Forum.

Robert Snell - CTO
Robert brings over a decade of international experience in the technology sector with marketing and sales. He’s built software and delivered SEM and PPC campaigns for Fortune 100 companies in Europe and North America. He’s built and sold a software company and executed marketing campaigns in Canada and the EU. Forward thinking and progressive, Roberts global perspective is invaluable to clients.

Robert is a founder of Clickhaur, a non-profit click-fraud organization and was named in 2007 as one of the top authorities in click-fraud prevention worldwide and featured by the Washington Post. He’s also a co-founder of TechEast, one of the most popular online news sources for the ICT, Biotech and Aerospace & Defence sectors in Atlantic Canada. Robert has extensive experience dealing with media and speaking at CES and other engagements. Robert’s attention to detail and fine-tuning helps bring clients back again and again. He currently serves on the board of directors for ITANS in Nova Scotia.

Todd Williams - Vice President

Todd understands client services and needs at a fundamental level; he began his business career early in outport Newfoundland delivering groceries with his grandfather. In university he started a confectionery business out of his dorm room. He was named the youngest entrepreneur of 1986 at MUN. His understanding of business management and service as a key element to success carries on today.

Todd has been around the Web industry for several years and worked across a diverse range of industries from oil & gas, transportation and automotive to insurance and government. His sound business knowledge and understanding of process has helped these organizations to find inherent value in leveraging the Web; beyond marketing into productivity and innovation. Todd’s ability to see the big picture and work across multiple organizational disciplines while ensuring projects are carried out diligently leaves clients looking for even more Web-based solutions and MediaBadger with a satisfied list of clients. Todd lives in Halifax with his high-school sweetheart and two girls and enjoys photography and boomerangs when not helping his clients grow profits and reduce costs.
